A STRANGE NEW BOOK
Written in June 2020, my first “Pseudo-Science Fiction Novel” (as I have coined the term) is a book transmission written collaboratively with plants, offering a sometimes shocking, sometimes comedic take on the potential true nature of reality, the potentially misled war against Carbon Dioxide, and the spiritual necessity of staying on the “Organic Timeline of Love” VS the “Artificial Timeline of Fear”.

SCREENWRITING
My most recent screenplay, “BARLEY DAVIDSON” which was co-written with my mother Suzy Friedman has just won at the HOUSTON COMEDY FILM FESTIVAL (2023!)
My second screenplay LONERS TOGETHER (2015) won acceptance into the annual Independent Film Week Project Forum, hosted by IFP, publisher of Filmmaker Magazine.
SYNOPSIS:
Alpha, a 29 year old hermit obsessed with attaining immortality lives in Brighton Beach, Brooklyn with her sun-worshipping mother Susannah and an assortment of unusual pets.
When Alpha finds out her mother is secretly battling cancer, her quest for youth is put on hold and she finally begins to live in the moment, aided by the help of an elder-obsessed photographer she meets on the N.Y.C. subway. [Watch one scene HERE].
My screenwriting for THE COLOR WHEEL was nominated for the John Cassavetes Independent Spirit Award.

This nomination was especially exciting because I was invited to attend The Independent Spirit Awards after-party and accidentally witnessed fellow-party attendee, celebrated astronaut Buzz Aldrin hold up his cellphone and press “Buy Now” on an Ebay Auction for an AIRPLANE while surrounded by a gaggle of beautiful young blond women who cheered.
