WHY WAS I INSPIRED TO START 1-800 EARTH?

In short, being fake made me sick.

Eating fake food, being around fake flourescent lighting, fake technology and fake people made me sick.

I spent the first 30 years trying to save the planet in typical ways - recycling, avoiding single-use plastic items, avoiding factory farmed meat, founding my Manhattan highschool’s environmental club, becoming a climate change journalist, and much more.

While these things are all helpful, I realize that the environmental crisis we see on our planet is a mental crisis (or crisis of Spirit)

As someone on the Autism Spectrum (SURPRISE!), I am literally and figuratively allergic to the fake + synthetic.

The way that I healed my health and found happiness was to become Authentic on all levels - to fill my life with the Organic and Real on all levels; which began to heal my mind and Spirit.

In order to be Authentic, I had to cut out all that is Synthetic…

AL-CHEMICAL FOR A MOMENT

Authentic starts with the Prefix “Au” which is the Elemental Symbol for Gold.

Organic starts with the Prefix “Or” or “Ore” which is also a term for Gold (Ore)

In-organic then is “fake gold” or fake riches.

The word Synthetic starts with the Prefix Syn or Sin.

Sin means to Offend, Trespass, Copy Take from Another or be Fake.

Inauthentic, organic and synthetic might look “pretty” but from an energetic conductor frequency standpoint, it is just superficial beauty, like brass versus gold.

Similarly, Inorganic food may look just like the real thing and smell like the real thing, but it lacks the nutrients of real organic food.

While I absolutely appreciate synthetic things such as delicious synthetic Cool Ranch Doritos (DON’T TEMPT ME!) or synthetic fabrics (rayon, acrylic, etc) - and very much appreciate synthetic technology (cars and cellphones), I believe that the main issue our planet is facing is VERY REAL sickness from the fake and inorganic,

In our increasingly toxic culture, we are taught that Synthetic is “normal” and that Sin is “normal and fun” while our planet is being stripped of the Real, Authentic and Organic from a nutritional, spiritual, physical, moral and environmental level.

I believe choosing Authenticity and Organic has the ability to revolutionize our own lives and Planet Earth for Good, which is why I am starting 1-800 EARTH

1-800-EARTH is :

the antidote to these hyper-disconnected times;

a solution for those who feel alienated and sickened by EVERYTHING FAKE.
